SRI SURYA BENTONITE EARTHING POWDER
When soils and ground conditions are highly acidic or alkaline or suspected of being so, earthing compunds or materials such as SRI SURYA Bentonite Earthing Powder will reduce the negative affect on the sensitive parts of the valuable equipments machinery, capital goods which may leads to the damage and loss of lives.
Features
- Performs more effectively in all types of soils.
- Maintains constant resistence for its lifetime.
- Long shelf life without deterioration.
- Eco-friendly, does not pollute or contaminate the water table or ground conditions.
SRI SURYA ADVANCED GROUND ENHANCING POWDER
After consistant research & development to provide a permanent solution to the earthing needs in the toughest conditions Sri Surya Advanced Ground Enchancing Powder came into existence. It is manufactured strictly in accordance with IEC 62561-7 Standard which specifies the requirements and tests for earth enchancinh compounds producing low resistance of an earthing/ground system. Once installed, Back Filling Compound is maintenance – free, not requiring periodic charging or the presence of water to maintain its conductivity.
Features
- Superior conductive material that caters to toughest grounding problems.
- It makes a highly conductive layer around the electrode.
- Keeps the soil moist for a longer period and lowerd
ground resistance. - Environment friendly, compatiblem with all types of soils (i.e gravel, sandy, rocky & mountain soils).
CONVENTIONAL EARTHING
- The Salt is known to be a Corrosive electrolyte which decays the pipe and the conductor used for earthing. D use to this decay one does not get the consistent ohmic values.
- The soft coke & charcoal tend to become ash due to heavy heat generated by heavy electric fault/currents generated in the system especially at higher voltages.
- The nacl is a hygroscopic substance which dissolves in water & losses its hygroscopic properties there by it becomes water itself. It goes deeper & deeper into the soil and finally disappears.
- During the hot summers booth the upper layer and the bottom layers becomes gradually dry and they does not retain the moisture in the pit resulting the decrease in the electrode surface area.
- During rainy season the salt (nacl) used in convention-nal earthing is washed away with the water currents. (there by increases soil resistivity and decreases the electric conductivity of the earthing pit)
BENTONITE POWDER EARTHING
- The bentonite powder is known to be a non-corrosive electrolyte it does not decay the pipe and the conductor used for earthing. Thus it develops consistent ohmic values.
- There is no chance of converting bentonite powder in to ash when much heat is liberated (helps in dissipation of fault current/ heat in a faster manner).
- Bentonite is a non-hygroscopic substance it swells to several times to its original volume when suspend in water and remains in contact with the electrode &virtually increases the electrode surface area.
- Even during the hot summers though the upper layer is dried up the bottom layers of bentonite suspension retains the moist there by electrode surface area remains stable.
- During rainy season the bentonite powder remains stable and moist. (There by reduces soil resistivity increases the electric conductivity of the earthing pit).
