It is a plasticizing liquid used as a integral water proofing compound. Being a liquid it disperses instantly with gauging water and improves strength through reduction of water content, improves work ability, cohesiveness of mortar and minimizes shrinkage cracks. It is a chloride free hence no effect on concrete.
